A rare and unique Georgian Folk Art stool, England, circa 1780. A single slab elm seat with the original blacksmith made spool on peg legs. Similar in design to a cutler's stool but we feel this piece was fashioned for the unique purpose of cutting wire or thread from the spool. Wonderful Folk Art Piece.
