Naive Study of Terriers

A naive study of three terriers surrounding their catch, which looks like a Rat in a cage. Origin unknown but probably English and late 19th century. Oil on canvas laid on board in an antique frame painted black. Lovely naive quality to the piece. A few spots of missing paint but very minor and otherwise in good condition for age.
Dimensions: H 49 x W 63 x D 3cm inc. frame.
