Cornish Windsor Armchair

A very attractive early 19th century Cornish Windsor stick back armchair. Constructed in Elm and Ash, the solid slab seat has been hewn from a lovely piece of burr elm. The legs have lost a little height which is quite common, there are traces of old green paint and the whole chair has a lop-sided charm about it. There is evidence of historic repairs but the chair is structurally sound.
Dimensions: H 95 x W 53 x D 52cm, seat height 37cm.
