A truly wonderful 19th century naive portrait of a French Doctor. Fabulous naive execution and off kilter perspective with ludicrously skinny legs and a table that defies the laws of physics. Oil on canvas. Signed bottom right but quite faded. Very unusual subject matter so a Folk Art collector's piece!
