A wonderful 19th century linen press from Blenkinsopp Castle, Northumbria, circa 1870. Constructed in pine in three parts: drawers, cupboard and cornice. Lovely original paint. Original interior drapers drawers. Graduated external drawers. Unusual construction - one third and two thirds. The cornice is angled to accommodate a sloping roof as it probably has always lived on the upper/ servant floors of the property.
