Large scale early 19th century portrait of a young English lady, oil on canvas, and probably the original (impressive) frame. Naive but detailed execution, and a very charming subject. Artist and sitter unknown. The canvas has been repaired in a couple of places but this does not detract from what is a lovely piece.
